The Vigilance Awareness Week, 2024 is being observed in RCF from 28th October to 3rd November, 2024 as per directives of CVC. The VAW-2024 begun in RCF with the administration of Integrity Pledge to all employees at 1100 hrs on 28th October by Hon’ble CMD Shri S.C. Mudgerikar in an inaugural function organized at Suraksha Bhawan, Trombay Unit in hybrid mode by connecting with all offices of RCF across India. The message given by Hon’ble President of Republic of India on the occasion of VAW-2024 was also read out by CMD. On the occasion, CVO Dr. Rahul S. Jagtap provided a brief on vigilance awareness initiatives, the special push that RCF is undertaking under VAW-2024, the use of technology, and the emergence of new challenges in fight against corruption.
The motivational guest speaker Dr. Dnyaneshwar M. Muley, Former Secretary Foreign Affairs and Ex. Member NHRC delivered keynote address on the theme “Culture of Integrity for Nation’s Prosperity” in the Sensitization Seminar. In addition to sharing his wealth of insightful knowledge, he emphasized the importance of honesty in both personal and professional settings by all to make India a truly prosperous Nation. He specifically discussed some government-introduced programmes like Passport Seva Kendra which facilitates the fast issuance of passports, his practical experience working as a diplomat in Japan and the Maldives, his role as an advisor to the National Skill Development Corporation, and few cases he has handled at the NHRC.
In his address, the CMD highlighted the company's "Let us grow together" motto and emphasized the importance of increasing transparency and an integrity-based culture in daily operations by all employees.
The DGM and above level officers posted at Trombay attended the function physically, whereas all other employees posted at Trombay, Thal & at various Marketing Offices all over India joined the event through video conferencing. Mrs. Nanda Kulkarni, CGM(HRD) gave an introduction of the Guest Speaker. Mr. Parag A. Dandekar, DGM(Vig.) proposed vote of thanks. The HRD, IT, Safety, and Vigilance departments put in noteworthy effort to ensure the event's success. Mr. Manohar Bhutkar, Sr. Manager (HRD) compered the proceedings of the function.
